Thermographic (IR Scanning /Thermal Imaging) Surveying

In addition to, or in association with, our planned maintenance service we offer IR scanning surveys of electrical busbar and switchgear. These surveys are of paramount importance for identifying potential issues, which can cause overheating of electrical systems and can cause damage to conductor insulation resulting in short circuits and downtime of critical supplies. The advantage of thermal imaging is there is no need to isolate systems as they are at their most effective when the system is at peak load. Our clients can use these surveys to identify maintenance requirements during planned power shutdowns.

 

Fully documented reports and recommendations are provided as standard for survey and maintenance activities.
